Every project is different, but the process is consistent:
Honest at the start, thorough in the middle, and clear at the end.
Here's how I work.
1. Discovery & concept
We start with a conversation about your site, your brief, and what you want people to feel when they arrive. I'll ask questions that go beyond the practical to understand the experience you're trying to create.
From there I develop an initial concept that sets the design direction for everything that follows.
2. Design & planning
I prepare all the drawings, documents, and design statements needed for your planning application.
Where specialist reports are required (ecology surveys, drainage assessments, structural input etc.) I coordinate those consultants directly, so you have one point of contact throughout.
I communicate with your planning department on your behalf and keep you informed at every stage, without the jargon.
3. Handover
Once planning is approved, you receive a complete design package - drawings, specifications, and everything your contractor or manufacturer needs to bring the project to life.
I'm available for questions during the build phase, and I'll always be honest about what's within my scope and when you need additional expertise.

I design spaces that are intentionally crafted to support well-being.
This includes a wide range of projects, from private home retreats and garden spas to commercial wellness retreats and wellness-focused hospitality spaces.
My focus is always on creating an environment that feels restorative and reconnects you with nature.

So as long as you have some building skills, I will provide everything you need to bring the space to life.

Yes, absolutely! I can act as a specialist wellness design consultant, working seamlessly with your existing architect or design team.

I’m based in Edinburgh, Scotland and predominantly work on projects across the UK.
If you’re outside the UK and interested in working together, feel free to get in touch and we can explore what’s possible!

The cost of your project depends on its scope and complexity. Because every project is unique, I can't provide a one-size-fits-all price.
Instead, I offer fixed-fee proposals based on the specific services you need, ensuring you have complete clarity and control over your budget from the very beginning.
-
Your involvement is essential during the initial Concept Development phase, as we'll collaborate closely to define your project's goals and create a space that fulfils them.
After that, I handle the administrative heavy lifting. You can rest assured that I'll manage the process efficiently while keeping you informed and engaged at every key milestone.

While I have a network of trusted professionals and a preference for sustainable, natural materials, I am not tied to any specific partners.
My priority is designing the best possible space for you. Once the design is complete, I can connect you with qualified professionals who can bring the vision to life, or I can work with a team of your choosing.
